Can slack admin see all messages?

With message activity, owners, admins, and members with permission can see how many people have interacted with a given message in Slack. You can use message data to measure the impact of announcements and internal communications campaigns. Owners and admins can view message activity for their workspace or Enterprise Grid org.

Slack has always given office administrators the ability to download and access conversations that take place on the platform. Previously, that just meant messages sent in public channels. But an update made to the platform in 2018 expanded the ability to access direct messages and conversations had in private channels.
