When using an app to send work messages, you need to understand that nothing is actually private. However, Slack gives its users an option to create and chat in public and private channels. Alternatively, you can also exchange DMs with one or several people.
You may be asking “Are slack conversations private?”
Conversations via Slack are clearly subject to the employee’s corporate privacy, Slack told NBC BETTER, and the company does not believe its privacy policy is confusing or unclear. Some privacy experts we contacted disagree. Slack is a work collaboration tool, not a private messaging app, and people need to understand that.
