Despite all this Classroom was still not working and hours of searching online and checking all settings finally found the solution. If none of the above resolved the issue, try turning off mobile device management if it is enabled. If Enable Mobile Management is set to enabled, set it to not enabled. That’s it and Google Classroom will start working again on Android. Note: The error can also occur due to Classroom App not turned on for the user OU.
