Edge does not block you from using Google Search or downloading Google Chrome. In fact, Chrome is my default on all my Windows 10 boxes.

Why Chrome is not working on Windows 10?
Chrome simply does not work since Microsoft Edge installed by Windows 10 update as default browser. After Windows 10 automatically installed Edge as the default browser, no version of Chrome I install will work.
