You can pair Android Wear with your i, and phone. Though Android Wear doesn’t get as much freedom as Apple Watch to work with i. Phone, it does function up to the mark. The most exciting thing about it is that you have a plethora of options to choose from as a number of watches from well-known companies support Android.

Nearly all of the Android Wear watches released within the last two years are compatible with an i. Phone running i. OS 9.0 or newer. Google lists 20 different watches that have assured i. OS functionality, although most of the older, first-wave Android Wear devices aren’t listed.

Is it possible to use Apple Watch without phone?
The only real way around this is to set the watch up with an i. Phone you’ve got spare and then use it as an independent device, without having it connected to your phone. Of course, this renders stuff like notifications and an internet connection useless but you’ll still have the fitness features which are very much a reason to buy an Apple Watch.
Can you run apps on the Apple Watch?
This is actually huge for i. OS, as it lets you run all the same standalone apps you would with an Android phone. You’ll be able to load up the store on the watch, browse and download apps just as people paired with an Android smartphone can.
