Projects are stored wherever you choose. However, by default, they are stored in: [ Home Directory ] > Documents > Adobe > Premiere Pro / 14.0 NOTE: Older projects will be stored in lower-numbered folders. In most cases, this is the folder you will need to access the most.
Another thing we asked ourselves was where are Premiere Pro project files stored?
By default, Premiere Pro stores rendered previews, conformed audio files, and captured audio and video in the folder where you store the project. Moving a project file later may require moving its associated files as well.
Premiere stores an auto-save folder for each individual project. This folder is typically located next to your project file, alongside the Audio Previews and Video Previews folders. Once you open the Auto-Save folder, you should see 20+ saved projects.
This of course begs the question “How to archive your video projects in Premiere Pro?”
Fortunately, Premiere Pro has a feature that allows you to archive your video projects efficiently. Premiere Pro projects and all the files used, including any LUTs, can be exported by navigating to File > Project Manager, and choosing what to export, and where it should be saved . A single folder will be created, and the files copied to it.
Premiere Pro projects and all the files used, including any LUTs, can be exported by navigating to File > Project Manager, and choosing what to export, and where it should be saved. A single folder will be created, and the files copied to it. You can then manually organise the files into subfolders.
I guess they’ve made it a tad easier, as I’ve found out after some digging: In Premiere Pro 2020, they simply store auto save files next to the project file, in a folder called Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save. So wherever you save your project, that’s where you’ll find the Auto- Save files, in a sub-folder.
Where are the premier pro custom export presets stored?
These are the files created when you create/modify an export setting and save it under a new name. They used to be located at C:\Users\Mark\App. Data\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\6.0\ Presets but I don’t see them there.
Why can’t I save my files on my prpro?
And if you can’t save elsewhere, that sounds like a disc permissions issue. , pr Pro doesn’t care as long as it’s 1) on a (preferably) locally installed real drive and 2) in some folder not on the root of the drive. Be kind and respectful, give credit to the original source of content, and search for duplicates before posting.
