A huge number of software, new games and hardware devices are not compatible with windows XP. Already few new updates of windows are running and they are doing quite well. It is a problem to provide support for old version of OS. So today or tomorrow we have to face this reality.

How long Did you Use Your SSD with Windows XP?
I used my first SSD (Intel X-25 M) with Windows XP for about a year (2010-2011) in a work laptop with no problems. Used it for development 8 hours on XP of compiling, creating/deleting large VMs, every day for a year or so, before installing Windows 7, then Linux.
This of course begs the question “What is the best SSD for Windows XP?”

OP, I have XP Pro 64 on a SSD. Make sure you use SSD tweaker and do not defrag a SSD. If you have a platter in the computer in addition to the SSD put your temp directory on the platter.
