The primary benefits of Windows Server are the roles and features it supports– active directory, DNS, DHCP, etc. If you arent using those, there is very little reason to use Windows Server over Windows 10.

Windows is never a good server, especially as a bare-metal OSe .especially nowadaya If you look at it, Windows 10 vs Server 2016 ..there are some limitations as some applications can only be installed on server OSe. More robust hardware are usually built-into server hardware which only supports server OS.
