Outlook can’t connect to Gmail: Password incorrect. When configuring your Gmail account in Outlook (or other mail clients such as Thunderbird and Mail apps on (older) smartphones), you may run into continuous password prompts or sync errors. This is because Google has turned off Basic Authentication by default for all new accounts.
When I was researching we ran into the inquiry “How to fix outlook not accepting password?”.
Now, click on the button Email Account shown on the screen. Choose Outlook email account and click on Change. Now, tick the option “ Remember Password” and save changes.” This will help in preventing the error, “Outlook Not Accepting Password” by saving your configured password.

If there’s no problem with case sensitiveness please report the problem with gmail because sometimes it happens with gmail and hence gmail will provide you with options to go for new password, and that will surely solver your problem all you need to do is to click on forgot password option in gmail and follow the steps.
