Why two logins on microsoft windows 10?

One of the reasons why the computer shows the logon screen twice is because many users enable the auto sign-in option after update. So, whenever your computer is updated the new computer setup detects your administrator users twice. One from the system and one from the update.

We have a Windows 10 laptop two of us share. We both have local accounts on the laptop. We both have separate Microsoft Accounts on different devices that we would like to use on the laptop. One Microsoft Account is already the primary Microsoft Account.

Do you use the same pin on all of your devices?

Might be something you dont see has hello available – hello from something I’ve read relies on the PIN and TPM, so try disabling TPM in your bios/setup.
