There is a quick and simple way to create a single-question poll in Microsoft Teams without using any third-party software. Even better, any member of the team can create a poll, and all members of the team can vote and see the results.
Here’s how to use and create polls in Microsoft Teams meetings. Adding a poll to a meeting is part of the administration of the meeting, so only organizers or presenters can add and manage polls. External guests and other attendees can all respond to Microsoft Teams polls, though.

Your attendees can vote in polls from their mobile devices without having to visit the Teams chat. They can directly respond via the pop-up window, an experience on par with the desktop experience. With this update, anonymous (guest) attendees will be able to view the poll and vote just like registered users.
Why can’t people outside of my team create or edit polls?
If your meeting has been forwarded to someone outside of your team or organization, they won’t be able to create or edit polls nor see the poll notification that appears in the middle of their meeting screen. They can, however, access the poll in Chat during the meeting. Only meeting owners and presenters can create, manage, and launch polls.
