Finally, a new way to learn for free! What is i, and tunes u?, i Tunes U is a completely free medium through the Apple i. Tunes application where colleges and universities can offer courses at no charge, to anyone who wants to take them.
Tap the star button on the bottom toolbar to see the Featured courses on i, and tunes u. You will see several featured courses categorized on the screen. You can check “Standout Courses,” “New & Notable,” “Courses by Language,” and many more. The courses are also categorized into sections, accessible from the header menu.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see i. Tunes U someday offer degrees or credits on behalf of participating schools, but there are a lot of ifs and buts to be answered before some like that can realistically happen.

If you have a US i. Tunes account you can get all sorts of freebies like new songs or media that is only being made available for US users. We previously mentioned how to get a free US i. Tunes account but Apple soon after disabled that option. You see, if you want to create a new i. Tunes account you usually have to add one of your credit cards to that account.
A common query we ran across in our research was “Can I create an iTunes account without a credit or debit card?”.
I found the answer is if you try to create an Apple ID using the prompts in i. Tunes, you will be forced to enter a valid credit or debit card to proceed. You can use a workaround to create an account without a card, which will allow you to download all of the free content available on i, and tunes. If you already have an Apple ID, skip this section.
The favorite answer was choose the i. Tunes Store and your desired country in the My Store section. Click on the Sign In tab to create an i. Tunes account and then choose Create New Account. You will see the i. Tunes welcome screen.
Is there a way to get free music on iTunes?
In the i. Tunes U store, most of the content is free, so there is no “Free” section. Many podcasts are free as well, so there is also no “Free” section for them. There is no longer free music available in the Music store. Browse and through the free items available.
