There are currently two Chromecast models available on the Google store : Chromecast and Chromecast with Google TV. The classic Chromecast lets you stream content from your mobile device or tablet to your TV, it functions solely as a casting device.
One of the next things we asked ourselves was, how do I set up my Chromecast device?
Step 1: Plug in your Chromecast device. Plug Chromecast into your TV, then connect the USB power cable to your Chromecast. Then either plug the other end of the USB power cable into an open USB port on your TV OR into the included power adapter which you will then plug into a power outlet. Note: Only use the provided AC adapter.

Connect your phone to the the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast. Open the Google Home app. In the upper right corner of the home screen, tap Account Devices to see available Chromecast devices. The PIN is found under the device name.
Where to buy chromecast audio?
The good news is that you can still find the Chromecast Audio on closeout today, and for a pretty attractive price, too: $15 (normally $35). Here it is at Google, and it looks like most major online retailers ( save Amazon, naturally) still have stock, too.
I didn’t want to buy completely separate speakers just for streaming audio. And the $349 Sonos Connect is a tough sell. But at just $35, the Chromecast Audio was a tenth of the price. I immediately bought one for myself.
