Youtube audio is in 2.0, not 2.1. You have only Left-Right channels. In order to be 2.1, you would have 3 audio channels, Left-Right-Sub, which is not the case. However, Dolby Atmos also has a technology of encoding multichannel audio into stereo (2.0) sources (and vice-versa, aka upmix/downmix).

I have an Amazon Fire TV Box and Youtube has Atmos demos but they all come through from the Fire TV as Stereo (Netflix and Amazon films come through as Dolby+). I tried downloading a few files onto a USB stick but the AV Receiver couldn’t play them properly. Any suggestions welcome.
