Where does google keep my passwords?

Your saved passwords are kept in a file called “ Login Data ” in Google Chrome’s App Data folder. You can back this up, save it to a thumbdrive and copy it to a new computer in order to transfer.

Google passwords should be available on any device that you log into using Google/gmail. I believe it is now cloud based and not simply stored in a folder on your PC. If not on your Google drive, then sync the PC to the drive.

Slide the “ Offer to save passwords ” button to on. Chrome will now be able to save passwords to your Google account. In the past, maybe you didn’t want Chrome to have access to your credentials, and you clicked on the “Never” button on the pop-up asking you to save your password.
