Google’s standard method of Gmail encryption is something called TLS, or Transport Layer Security. As long as the person with whom you’re emailing is also using a mail service that also supports TLS — which most major mail providers do — all messages you send through Gmail will be encrypted in this manner.
Your Google Email can be encrypted by using third-party extensions and apps. There are various extensions available on Google Chrome that you can install to protect your Gmail. If you use Gmail mostly on your mobile devices, such as i. OS and Android, there are also various apps available.
Without G Suite, Gmail uses standard Transport Layer Security encryption that provides a base level of encryption to all outgoing emails. However, it is not end-to-end, so isn’t fully secure, and if someone is using a mail server that does not adhere to TLS protocol, then the message definitely won’t be encrypted .

There are many encryption services that are compatible with Gmail. You can use Google Apps Message Encryption (GAME) or a third-party email encryption solution such as those offered by Identillect, Lux. Sci, Paubox, RMail, Virtru, or Zix.
