On a Chromebook, it’s easy to connect to any network printer you may be using. Open the Chromebook Settings menu and click the Devices button. Scroll down to Print and Scan and select Printers. Under the Add printers to your profile section, your Chromebook should detect any network printers you can connect to.
You can print from your Chromebook using most printers that connect to Wi-Fi or a wired network. Currently, Chromebooks don’t support Bluetooth printing.
That’s great news if you want to use a Chromebook with network printers that don’t support Google Cloud Print. Local printing also allows you to print when your internet connection is down or when you’d prefer to not use Google Cloud Print. Chromebooks and printers haven’t always gotten along well.
After you’ve set up your printer, you can use that printer to print from your Chromebook: 1 On the page you’d like to print, press Ctrl + p. 2 Next to “Destination,” select the Down arrow. 3 Choose your printer.
