When we were reading we ran into the query “Does android mail support modern auth?”.
Regardless of whether or not Modern Authentication is enabled on the tenant, a Basic Auth mail profile will be created. If Modern Auth is enabled on the tenant, nothing will change.

I’m also interested in Modern Auth support in Android. Please DO NOT suggest the Outlook mobile app. It is not a serious mobile mail app in 2018. The native apps for Android and i. OS outclass it in every aspect., in i OS, native app has supported Modern Auth since i, and os 11.
