Android was created in 2003 by Andy Rubin, who first started developing an OS for digital cameras. Soon, he realized that the market for digital camera operating systems perhaps wasn’t all that.
What is the history of Android?
Rubin described the Android project as tremendous potential in developing smarter mobile devices that are more aware of its owner’s location and preferences.
As Rubin said in 2013, “The exact same platform, the exact same operating system we built for cameras, that became Android for cellphones.”. In 2005, the next big chapter in Android’s history was made when the original company was acquired by Google.
The smartphone has come a long way since the first i. Phone launched in 2007. While Apple’s i. OS is arguably the world’s first smartphone operating system, Google’s Android is by far the most popular.
How has Android evolved over time?
Android has evolved significantly since first being released on an HTC-made T-Mobile device in 2008. Android was created in 2003 by Andy Rubin, who first started developing an OS for digital cameras.
How did android 18 have a baby?
Android 18 didn’t need to become human because Android 18 was always human. She was an ordinary girl until Dr Gero gave her cybernetic enhancements technically turning her into a cyborg. This left her reproductive system intact, allowing her to give birth still.
Android 18 isn’t exactly an android, she’s specifically a cyborg. She was human once but Dr. Gero remodeled her and added cybernetics. Gero left her human enough to conceive a child. And so she did with Krillin. This is actually referenced in DBZ Abridged. “Actually we call them Androids” “Well good for you, you’re wrong”.
Why can androids have children?
Androids in DBZ are actually better characterized as cyborgs, which are human beings enhanced with mechanical parts to increase their strength and such. So technically, she is still a human, just mechanically enhanced, thus giving her the ability to have children. I believe her alternative name in the manga is “C 18” meaning “Cyborg 18.”.
