With Lightroom Classic, you sync photos manually, whereas Lightroom syncs photos automatically. Any change you make in Lightroom – adding photos, creating albums, editing photos – syncs automatically across your devices and back to Lightroom Classic. Lightroom also backs up and stores full resolution versions of your photos to Creative Cloud.
The favorite answer is Lightroom Classic is the best version for users who prefer a more advanced approach to photo editing. And for those of you who like to tinker with the functions, add your own custom presets, use LUTs, and enjoy experimentation. Lightroom CC is suitable for all types of photo editing work.

Still, as of the date of this article, it is my very clear preference over it’s newer sibling, Lightroom CC. Lightroom Classic CC has more functionality than Lightroom CC. The younger sibling is still very much playing catchup to having all of the functions from the older.
