The content you save on Tasks is private to you, from others, unless you choose to share it, like when you create Tasks in Gmail Chat rooms. Google respects your privacy. We access your private content only when we have your permission or are required to by law.

Do google tasks show up in calendar?
If you are still on Google Calendar, the Tasks app (blue circle with a check mark) is in the top right hand corner below Keep. Once clicked, you will see Tasks pop up next to your calendar, which is nice because you can consult your calendar and write your to-dos without having to switch between windows, tabs, or screens.
Tip: To view tasks on Google Calendar, make sure you choose a date when you create the task. In the left panel, under “My calendars,” uncheck the box next to “Tasks.” Tip: If you don’t find the left panel, at the top left, click Main menu. As of right now it doesn’t look like the mobile versions of Calendar and Tasks communicate with each other. That functionality is only available on the desktop versions. If anyone would like that to become available, be sure to suggest it by sending in feedback in both apps.
