Can google pay be added to samsung watch?

Google Pay will alert you and tell you how to do that if it isn’t on. Samsung doesn’t block Google pay, Google however prefers not to support the Galaxy Watch because they see the Galaxy Watch as their competition. Samsung Pay is not Google Pay. I am looking at the new Samsung watch but unless I can use Google Pay, I will give it a miss. My bank can work with Google pay but not Samsung Pay.
