Google received reports of users being unexpectedly signed out of their email accounts Thursday night, Google Community Manager Crystal Cee said on the Gmail Help Forum. Posts from affected users on Twitter indicate that the problem extended to other Google services, like You, and tube, too.
So you would think Google would have developed an option to automatically log you out after a certain amount of time, but it doesn’t exist! There’s one major reason for that too: Google doesn’t ever want you to log out of your account because then it can’t track everything you do.
