By default, Google Chrome uses Google as its search engine, and Microsoft Edge uses Bing. But you can easily change the default search engine on either browser, so this shouldn’t factor into your decision.

I like the ever-changing Bing picture of the day, and, in my experience, it has better results for image and video, and the video rollover preview in particular is fantastic. For Edge, I can no longer browse without Set Tabs Aside, and I love how non-intrusive Ask Cortana is.

This is what my research found. the Bing app does work as a browser. However, Edge allows the use of an ad blocker and the Honey extension. Edge will also sync with the desktop Edge. I don’t think Bing app has that.

Why do you use Bing instead of Google?
I’ve grown to like Bing over Google as well. Bing is more accurate for software development, and Edge is more feature-rich with features that I actually use.
I also feel that Bing’s image and video search are better than Google’s. And, I feel that Bing’s search results “look” better than Google’s. Basically, Bing is more visually appealing. As far as Edge though, yeah, no.
