Will lightroom 5 run on windows 10?

LR5 is outdated software so it’s no longer being updated or tested on new operating systems. That said, I haven’t heard of any notable issues with LR5 on Windows 10. It’s just not officially supported.

Our answer is that perhaps you should ask your photographer friend what the exact issues are with LR5 and Win10. As far as I know, the only thing that doesn’t work is the Map module (but that doesn’t work with Win7 either). I’ve just launched 5.7.1 on my Win10 system, and it runs fine.

Is Lightroom 11 better than Lightroom 6?
