Specifically when I updated Windows and opened Edge, it took 7 to 8 seconds for it to initially open. Once it was opened it worked fine and loaded pages promptly. But if I closed Edge and then reopened it would consistently take 7 to 8 seconds to initially open.
The new Edge (Chrome based) has been particularly slow in downloading. It’s as if it had to spend time chiseling an image in stone. – Very slow, and very annoying.
