Premiere Rush saves the media in the folder that you specify in the Preferences dialog box. By default, the media is stored in the Premiere Rush/Imported Media folder. For information about how to change this default location, see Set audio, input, output, and rendering preferences.
Unlike programs like Premiere Pro or Premiere Elements, Rush doesn’t save its projects as individual files on your device’s hard drive. It saves it as part of a database on your system. I don’t believe it’s possible to locate a specific Rush project file on your Mac, even if it is saved locally.
How do I Save my Video in Premiere Rush?
If you don’t change it, Premiere Rush will default to saving to your documents folder. Navigate to where you’d like your video saved. We recommend saving it to the desktop to make it easy to find. To do this, simply click “Desktop” on the left hand sidebar of the save window.
