Does apple news plus include ny times?

Apple News Plus does not include access to stories from The New York Times or The Washington Post. But it does offer a lot of other things, including stories from The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, National Geographic Magazine, and People Magazine, among other publications.

Apple News + includes a full subscription to all content from The Wall Street Journal, but because Apple restricts the WSJ articles that are shown in ‌Apple News‌+, it can be hard to access certain paywalled content.

This begs the inquiry “Does apple news plus include the wsj?”

The ‌ Apple News‌+ section of ‌Apple News‌ and the ‌Apple News‌ app will surface some WSJ content independently, but Apple is sharing general interest stories rather than financial or other content, so this browser workaround method will need to be used for those stories as ‌Apple News‌+ does not include a WSJ web login.

Why did the New York Times end its Apple news partnership?

The New York Times said on Monday that it was exiting its partnership with Apple News, as news organizations struggle to compete with large tech companies for readers’ attention and dollars. Starting on Monday, Times articles were no longer appearing alongside those from other publications in the curated Apple News feed available on Apple devices.

While I was reading we ran into the question “Why isn’t the New York Times on Apple’s subscription service?”.

But major national newspapers like The New York Times and The Washington Post have chosen not to join Apple’s subscription service and offer full access to their stories. That’s likely because they don’t need to.

What is Apple News+?

(Pocket-lint) – Apple offers a subscription service, called Apple News+, which gives users unprecedented access to some of the biggest newspapers and magazines around the globe. It includes hundreds of magazines and newspapers. Some of the big names include The Los Angeles Times, The Times and Sunday Times, and The National Geographic.

When I was writing we ran into the inquiry “What is Apple News+ and how does it work?”.

Apple News+ is a news subscription service that gives you access to hundreds of magazines and newspapers, including TIME, The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Bon Appetit, People, and Cosmopolitan. While not all these outlets have a paywall, it’s nice to get them in one place.

Apple News Plus includes access to more than 300 magazines, from highbrow journalism like The New Yorker to mass-market celebrity fare like People. But the service was only able to enlist three major newspapers — The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and the Toronto Star.

Is Apple News+ the new subscription-based news app for You?

Apple may have an answer. The tech giant released a subscription-based version of its News app that gives you access to hundreds of magazines and newspapers, including many of my most-read publications that enacted a paywall. I decided to try out Apple News+ to see if it would feed my need for news and storytelling.
